What we do at EQUUS?

At EQUUS we develop programmes which allow you to discover things about yourself, like, how you come across to others, how you lead and manage how focused you are on your goal(s).

We offer a series of programmes in which you are brought together with horses. Through the process of learning the language of horses, you will think about the clarity of your own communication.

Horses are prey animals who live in herds and rely on good leadership to keep them alive. So they give you really good feedback on what you’re doing and how you are doing it. Our aim is to have fun and play with the horses. Listening and observing how they respond to you.

The EQUUS leadership programme gives you a unique perspective on your own thoughts, feelings and actions. You will find that your interaction with the horse will sharpen your own awareness of your intentions and behaviours.

Working with horses through EQUUS will give you an opportunity to explore the nature of motivation and its impact upon behaviour. Through this process you will find yourself re-examining what is important for yourself and others.

We want you to experiment, try things out and mess things up! This is a new field and there are no right or wrong answers.

EQUUS programmes are primarily about fun – come and join us and have lots of it!
